Biographical history
Ellen Healey was born on 10 February 1884. She was living in Rutherglen, Lanarkshire, in December 1928 when she enrolled at the Glasgow and West of Scotland College of Domestic Science, with 10 years' dressmaking experience and a Teacher's Certificate. She studied for the Group II Diploma but withdrew from the course in September 1929, taking a Dressmaking Certificate.

The collection contains notebooks created by Ellen Healey whilst studying at the Glasgow and West of Scotland College of Domestic Science (Incorporated). This collection contains 2 items and 1 enclosure:
